Open Club ("we", "us", "our") operates the Open Club mobile application and website (the "Service"), a social platform for finding, creating, and joining golf rounds and racket sport matches. • Activity data — rounds you create or join, players you connect with, messages within matches, and your Show Up Score.
• Location data — approximate or precise location, only with your permission, to show rounds and players near you.
• Device & usage data — device type, operating system, app version, and basic analytics used to improve the Service.

• To create and manage your account and profile.
• To match you with nearby rounds, players, and clubs.
• To enable in-app messaging and round coordination.
• To calculate community features such as the Show Up Score and leaderboards.
• To send service-related notifications (and marketing only where you have opted in).
• To maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as follows:

• With other users, to the extent you choose to make it visible (e.g. your profile, rounds, and messages with players in a match).
• With service providers who help us operate the Service (hosting, analytics, messaging), under contractual confidentiality obligations.
• Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Open Club and its users.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
